Looking for 256GB SSD under $500

I have an early 2009 Mac Pro (4,1) 2.66 Quad-Core. I'm looking to speed things up a bit by adding an SSD for boot up, an ATI 5770 video card, with additional memory.

Which brand SSD do you recommend?
I've been looking at Crucial and OWC.

Unless you want to have to enable TRIM with software found on these forums (which is awesome by the way) get the OWC 3Gb 240GB (around 400.00) as it has better garbage collection and needs no TRIM support. Performance wise they both pretty much saturate your bus.

Samsung 470, Intel 320 Series (or X25-M G2) or Crucial m4 in that order.

Samsung 470 Series appears to be very reliable and the speeds are very decent too. Price isn't too bad either.
