Do you mean one that looks like musical notes but is still letters, or one that means you can type music, like a wingdings type font with musical notes in it?

one that you can still read, if i cant find out its not that big of a deal. basically for my design class we have to design a pamphlet for the winter concert, that is to raise money for katrina relief.

Take a peek at these freeware fonts, you may find something you like in there, especially in the fontbat section.

[Edit: I noticed that they say "Windows only" but they do work with OS X.]

how many music notes do you really need? the special char palette for OS X already has the basic notes and some of the basic notation. I believe.

I gathered that the request was for letter forms styled like notes, not literally music notation symbols.

What about using a font like this one, and putting a stave in the background? It would be a subtler effect, and would save you having to find a specific font.
