earth, for now.
K, so use folks in Canada are snuff'd out on the ABC Player for the iPad which sucks. I was able to download one and such, I figured a work around to do so, but now, I can't load any of the content, because my IP links back to Canada.

Im looking for a FREE VPN Service (if that exists), because I know that if I use a VPN service, and modify the settings on the iPad within the Settings>General>Network>VPN section, it will then allow me to look like Im in the US, and thus us the service...

Does anyone know what Im talking about here? Any help would be nice! :)

btw, my iPad rocks my life.

A VPN used for any purpose will consume a lot of bandwidth. Getting a reliably fast one for free will be next to impossible.

Hotspot Shield. AFAIK the iPhone 'version' should work (link). I've never gotten it to work on my iPads and iPhones even though it works perfectly on my computer and my friend's iPod touch.

See if it works for you I guess- it shows a banner on every page you visit while using the VPN service though. Seems pretty fast- I've tried playing a few US-only online MMORPGs while using their server and it didn't lag much.

Do you have a friend in the US who owns an Mac desktop and a cable connection?

Buy them a copy of MacServe's iVPN and you can easily set up VPN access on Mac OS X. Then, you can connect into their network whenever you need to.
