Looking for a good image browser/viewer like Lyn

Hi,

I'm looking for a good image viewer/browser that is similar to Lyn in concept. Lyn sadly hasn't been updated in two years and doesn't work on macOS 11, so I need an alternative. What's important to me is the typical setup where you have a directory tree on the left and a thumbnail browser that shows all images in a selected directory. Double-clicking a thumbnail should open the full image (full screen) and from there I should be able to go to the next photo with a key.

I know Finder can do this but I want something a bit more sophisticated.

Any suggestions?

You should take a look at Nikon ViewNX-i. A bit more sophisticated.

If you are just looking for a browser/viewer then ACDSEE Photo Studio 6 is worth taking a look at. Doesn't compare in features to its Windows version, but for just viewing/managing (not editing) it is pretty useful.
