I know this is a long list of games but I'm relatively new to the Mac and in the WinXP world Sudoku, Mahjong, Chess, Scrabble, and Tetris were my favorite computer games.
I don't need anything fancy and prefer something that is very cheap or either shareware or free. Any good suggestions?

Quinn is amazing for Tetris. You can play over a network against people or just by yourself. Chess comes with your Mac or at least mine did. Should be your Big Bang Board games. Listed as chess in the apps. Here is something for Sudoku. Can't say that I have ever tried it, but it is a widget that seems to be free. Might have to look into that myself. The others I haven't found, but I have seen a couple shareware versions of the Scrabble and Mahjong. Just google "scrabble mac" or replace mahjong with scrabble. Should take you to what you are looking for.

I know it's shareware, but I really liked it during my free trial (like, two years ago or something?) and I had coughed up for MacSudoku. :) This newer version seems to have even more to offer. Doubt I'll be upgrading just 'cause I hardly play anymore.
