Can anyone recomend a good video watching app that I can use to pull folders/files from iCloud/files app into local storage for the app itself so I can then delete the files from iCloud?

Would like all the common formats/types to be supported.

Thanks

I use nPlayer - a great app. From in the Files app, I can select from other sources and share with (copy to) nPlayer (or download via SMB from other devices, e.g. PC, NAS).

Cool thanks, I'll check it out.

So I could load files directly to that app without having to go through iCloud? That would be really handy.

VLC is another option. Can drag/drop video to the app directly via iTunes (PC) or Finder (Mac), under the device's "Files" tab when connected to a computer.

And, really, don't need an app if OK with iCloud. Just tap the video to play directly, or, can select it and move/copy it to the iPads "On My iPad" section in Files app. Can then tap and play from there (and, come to think of it, once you've uploaded to the iPad, it's already cached, so no need to do anything, really)
