Currently have a 10.2 iPad Pro and at least considering an upgrade to the 11“ iPad Pro. In reading the specs I see some pluses but also minuses . Better processor, brighter screen, better camera but less capacity battery and WiFi only positioning no gps also no speaker plug ( no big thing) what am I missing need some expert comments. My iPad is used in place of a laptop, I do have an imac on my desk
in fact I’d I could easily print from the iPad I would not even think about a laptop ..... have over the years given my laptop to a grandchild as they needed it
thanks for any insights

You only get GPS with the cellular models. I'm pretty sure it was like that with the 10.2". Have you looked at the new iPad Air? I suspect the Pro will get a big refresh like the Air got soon so maybe a bad time to buy one unless you really need it.

What improvements if any are you looking for?

iPads can indeed print but they need a printer that communicates wirelessly with the so called AirPrint technology to make it work.

I have the new 2020 iPad Pro 11” through Verizon and I use it for everyday use for work with the Apple Pencil 2 and the battery life is awesome. I get about 2 1/2 days out of the battery. I don’t let it fall below 30%. I don’t know what kind of battery life you get but I am very happy with the battery life I get out of mine.

You mean 10.5 pro? The 10.2 is the budget model. Watch this and decide. I also went from the 10.5 pro to the 11 pro.
