Hi there, I just got the game like 3 days ago and I'm currently looking for new players of the game to practice multiplayer with.

I have played all and every single age of empire out there, but when it comes to StarCraft, I'm a complete noob. And even though some of the techniques do apply for both games, StarCraft 2 is a completely different experience.

Please do note that this is for amateur players only...

Add me up if interested!

I think that you should try playing against the computers if you are completely lost on what to do and need help. Also the camping will help you a lot.

I guess this might show how much of a noob I am, but how do I find out what my friend code is?

From memory, when you open your Friends window and click Add Friends, it will come up with a box and your code is in the top right, three digits.

Any SEA semi-amateur players here?

I'm remiss to spam a thread with requests for guest passes but er -shuffles feet eyes downcast- I could do with one too. Unfortunately I bought the digital download edition and didn't realize I was passing up the two guest passes you get in the boxed version sigh.

Want one to sucker a friend into buying sc2 :D.

I am buying Starcraft 2 on Tuesday and will be up for games with MacRumors members! I am very bad. I reinstalled Starcraft after many many years, and I was terrible.

Plus Starcraft 2 is probably completely different.

I'm not great at micro-management and I've never played Starcraft before.

I'm not really that good, but I wouldn't say I'm terrible either. Still in the bronze league unfortunately.

Edit: I've gotten much better in the past week, to about Gold league. So if anyone is around that skill level and wants to 1v1, go ahead and add me.

Oh when it comes to the basics i can do them hassle free. So far I can win against the computer from very easy to very hard no problem.

But at the end of the day.... real player > AI

I still havent beaten insane though.

I expected myself to be out of touch when I picked up SC2 but I feel like if your a good strategist, the game will just come naturally to you. I haven't played StarCraft 1 since 2003ish and when I started playing online a couple days ago, I was ranked Diamond in 1v1. If you need any tips for Terran, let me know. ;)

I hadn't played starcraft since I was very young on those giant old original imacs. Needless to say when I was a kid I just used cheat codes so I have no strategy at all. I always play terran and would love to get some tips from you.
