Looking for IOS app to display my family tree. I use reunion on the Mac to maintain and build my family tree but I do not use the Reunion app because they require you to use drop box to save the main copy of your family file. I would like to find an IOS app I could keep a copy of the family tree so I could have info with me on my phone or iPad. I would just upload a gedicom file from my mac to keep it isync. Any ideas

Ancestry.com. The app is pretty good. I just started my tree in November and have gone back as far 28 generations. And found out some incredible info.

Thanx I have used Ancestory for years. I input what I find into Reunion on the Mac. What I am after is an IOS app so I can have my family tree on my phone

Oh you want it as a file basically to just view. I have not found one. I wish ancestry allowed a full tree view screen. Not just sections of it.

Actually I want to export my family file from Reunion as standard gedicom file and then read it into an IOS app so I can view it on my phone. Reunion has as iOS app but it is expensive and requires you use drop box. I just do not trust google to store my family file securely on drop box

Have a look at MobileFamilyTree 9 It is the IOS app for MacFamilyTree 9. It will keep your file on your device or you can sync using iCloud. I used FamilytreeMaker 25 years ago on Windows before moving to a Mac about 12 years ago. I tried nearly all their Genaology software before settling on MacFamilyTree.
