I tried that one, and it keeps crashing on me, even after a restart. I just stick with browsing to www.beeradvocate.com I have over 600 reviews there anyway.

Maybe try ipint from what I've heard it's not that bad of a beer app

iPint was an early free game that was removed from the App Store at least in the US over concern about promoting underage drinking. Or so the story went. It never provided any useful information about different beers.
