Looking for an old-school rpg

Greetings.

I'm looking for the name of an old roleplaying game I used to play as a kid. The problem is that I don't remember that much about it.

I played it on a PowerPC. The graphics were extremely primitive and you could fight goblins I believe and gamble some!

Please help me out here guys :).
 
I do realize that. The problem is though that I can't remember much. One og the ingame icons were a dice.

Edit: I've looked through the above mentioned list without any success. Most of the games there seems to be pretty new and flashy. The game I'm looking for is very old and pixely.
 
It is none of the above mentioned games, but it's like a slightly more primitive version of realmz.
 
Maybe you played some game contracted by Apple at the time to make a throw-in? Or perhaps something your parents got from some freebie software or something like that? Those would be pretty hard to track down.
 
my guess is that it is from an old software cd. Check the basement at your parents house for any old software cds :D

I have no memory of ever throwing those old cds away and i didnt take them with me when I moved.

Nope, it's not land of lore.

I did find some old mac magazine cd's, which I will check out once I get hold of an ordinary computer. I'm thinking of emulating via pearpc.
 
Oh! Is it one of the Yipe! series of games by any chance? I used to play that on Mac OS 9, it had the aforementioned goblins and gambling, and was sort of like Realmz. Believe it or not, Yipe! is still around, see link: Yipe! Software
 
You could certainly help with some more detail on the game ...

Black and White, or Colour ?

Top-down ? or First Person, or Isometric ?

Which Mac would you have played it on ? Motorola or PPC ?

And a rough idea of the year ? "Old-school" could mean 1984, or 1990, or 1996, or 2002 at the end of OS9.
