I have an old WD MyCloud server that I use for quick sharing of videos on my LAN (mostly, playing them on a large screen TV via a Roku). For "real" media sharing I have a Synology drive set up with Plex, but the MyCloud/Roku media app is fine for the one-off video display.
Copying the video files isn't hard: I select the remote MyCloud server on my Mac (I'm using PathFinder), select the drive's Public folder in the dialog window that presents, then select the "Shared Videos" folder within that Public folder and copy the file over, then unmount.

But it would be great if there were some app that would do this quickly and automatically. I've seen the DropCopy app, but unfortunately that only works Mac to Mac, and I obviously can't run the app on the WD server. Is there anything that I can use on my Mac that would basically replicate what DropCopy does, with something like the drop-icon (in this case, just that one-way copy to that one destination) but without needing to have the destination running a Mac app?

I use FreeFileSync to synchronise between my Macs the data I don't want to store on the cloud.
The same app can be used in Mirror mode, to mirror one or more Folders or Disks onto another Folder or Disk on the same or another computer, as long as the destination is mounted or networked with your source computer.
