Looking for Fast VNC Server

Hey all, I'm looking for a VNC server and having a lot of trouble since OSX has a built in. I can't get the OSX built in server to let me log in without a password, and I'm trying to log in from a virtual reality VNC app on Android, so it doesn't have a keyboard.

So I've tried using Vine Server, which seems really great....but it's quite slow. Even when connecting through a tethered USB connection.

Can anyone recommend a faster VNC server for Mac? I'm considering trying to build a Linux one from source but the dependency tracking would be a nightmare.....
