I am looking for some home design software that will help me design a new house. I need some thing that will help me design as much as possible, right down to the plumbing if possible and then generate a materials list for price estimation. I have done a search here and found Punch Home Design but I can't figure out if it will do what I need or just help me remodel and landscape. I have been playing with Google Sketchup as well but it doesn't really do enough for me. I have seen plenty of apps for windows but would like to keep this on this on my mac. Any ideas?

Thanks for the ideas. I have seen Turbo CAD we have it where I work. I guess I am going to have to go with the Windows option and use the Better Homes and Gardens house design suite. I am buying this for someone who is not much of a Techie and I am trying to make this as easy as possible for them. Thanks again.
