earth, for now.
I know there are a ton of sites that provide in the Cloud service and disk space... but I’m curious about some services that will work with the iPad?

I have ORB Media Live, which streams my media from my iMac at home, over the net, down to my iPod touch. Works GREAT, but essentially I need to have my iMac turned on and connected 24/7 for this to work.

I've used Box.net, which only gives you 1gb of space for free, and they have an app for the iPod and iPad, but neither of them stream content.

I have aDrive, which gives you 50 GB of free disk space, but I'm unsure if this will work with the iPad. I don't see any Flash content, so I don’t see why it wouldn't, but I’m unsure if there are other elements within the script that will or will not work with the iPad, so if anyone wants to check that out and lemme know, that'd be swell!

Ok so - this is what I am looking for. A Cloud-based service that will allow a user to upload their content and then be able to access it over several devices...easy enough right... well, I want to know if there is a service that provides adequate storage space that will allow Streaming of the content to the iPad/iPod/iPhone.

I read somewhere, about an application that their service gives you 25GB of storage, and it doesn't matter the video format as it converts all of the videos on the fly.... if anyone knows what this is, please tell me!

:)

I've been quite happy with MobileMe. I've got three macs, iPad, iPhone, all sync up nicely with my contacts, email, bookmarks, etc. I have iDisk local copies on all my macs and the iDisk app for the mobile devices. Works great.

Curious does this support streaming video to the ipad?

I'm also curious to see what the answer to this will be and if any of the respondents actually read your whole message before answering. :)

Wait for the N.C. Apple facility to open this summer. Think you will see all the cloud you want.

I use mobileme and have been very happy with the service. You can buy at a reduced price on amazon.

I am in Charlotte and all the rumors are buzzing about the new facility. I am not sure if you were getting at the fact it is rumored mobileme is going free. Which I think it should as much as you pay for Apple items.

Is there an iPad-specific iDisk app yet?
