Hey! I am about worn out on Clash of Clans these days (as it takes weeks to do anything at this point). I love that type of game and am looking to see if there is anything like it that y’all play? Ive got this 2018 12.9 pro and want to use it! Thanks!

Have you tried DomiNations? Apparently it’s pretty good.

Civilisation VI
The World Ends With You
PUBG Mobile - PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds Mobile
To The Moon
Final Fantasy IX
Edit: Stardew Valley!!!
Edit 2: Life is Strange is supposed to be really good - I haven’t had the time to play it, though

There you go, a very varied list (these games couldn’t be more different from each other) whose only unifying characteristic is the high quality of the games.

To a lesser extent, Modern Combat 5 (not nearly as good, but it is a showcase of graphics for iPad gaming).

Life is Strange is really good. Then again, OP asked for games like Clash of Clans. If OP is into something like League of Legends, maybe Vainglory is a hot tip?

Definitely have some downloading to do.... I haven’t given civ VI a fair shot i got it last year at some point but it seemed a bit over my head to an extent. Maybe I wasn’t patient enough

While you're at it ... here's a list of my all-time favorites for iPad:

Stardew Valley - farming sim
Evoland & Evoland II - nice adventures
Thumper - rhythm game
every game with FINAL FANTASY in it - retro RPGs (FF XV Pocket Edition aside, that's new)
Scribblenauts Remix - word puzzle game, quite charming
Old Man's Journey - soothing light puzzle game
Plants vs Zombies 1 & 2 - one of the first tower defense games, 1 is great and 2 is huge
Fallout Shelter - management with time factor
Alto's Adventure & Alto's Odyssey - endless runners worth their money
Dragon Quest VIII - huge RPG/adventure, a bit retro
Hearthstone - card game
Monument Valley 1 & 2 - puzzle games with perspective
Threes - brain game with the number 3
Oceanhorn - a Zelda-like adventure
Republique - stealthy game for iPad
Dungeon Keeper - management with time factor
KAMI 1 & 2 - sort of a color puzzler
World of Goo - physics game
Chrono Trigger - retro adventure/RPG
Infinity Blade 1/2/3 - all three are great action games
Year Walk - nice adventure, a bit spooky
Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic - Star Wars RPG with a kinda D&D ruleset
Bastion - cool narrated adventure
Drop7 - nice numbers game, puzzler
Jetpack Joyride - another endless runner, having a blast with it
Canabalt - one of the first endless runner, timeless
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery - a mythical journey
Puzzle Quest 2 - a match three game with story
Tiny Wings - endless runner, quite charming
Fruit Ninja Classic - slash all the fruits!
FTL: Faster Than Light - a nice space survival sim

Sorry that it's so many games, but they're all worth a look. Promise :)
