Thanks for reading and for any feedback.

I have a video project. I'll do my best to explain how I see it in my head. Looking for an app(s) solution/recommendations if there is one.

There are various mosaic apps out there that will allow you to upload pics from your library and then the app will organize them so that, when they are side-by-side and on top of each other, as the app zooms you the viewer out, you realize the pics are essentially pixels to a single, larger pic. Cool stuff but nothing new.

What I am looking to do is create a mosaic layout of pics - that form a single big pic - BUT I want to be able to hop around and view individual pics of my choosing before the zoom out. I want to be able to jump around and linger on some of the individual pics for a short period of time and then the zoom out occurs. I'm pretty sure I've seen this done in film, but I can't think of a particular film at the moment.

In short - mosaic effect that you can look at the individual pics at your pleasure, and then you can push the button so to speak on the zoom out.

Thanks!
