I switched from Android to iPhone back in October and I am struggling with the Photo's app. I cannot stand everything being in the Camera Roll and how you can add a photo to a folder but the photo stays in the camera roll...urgh apple..

What's a good Photo Manager app to kind of mimic/simulate, folder/photo organization like I had on android? Having the camera roll show at the bottom of an album list would be nice so I don’t have to see right up front but see my file organization first

On android, once a week I would empty out my DCIM folder and file the photo's into the appropriate folders like I organize them on my PC

Folder:2017> Folder: Jan-April

Folder: May-Aug

Folder: Sept-Dec

I know I cannot fully achieve this with iOS but getting in the ballpark would be nice.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus on 10.1.1 – been waiting for jailbreak in case that opens up the availability to organize with iFile or something.

Any help, input, suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Clint

Folders is a bit of a misnomer here. Think of folders more as filters. When you add a photo to a folder, you are simply tagging it with the name of the folder for quicker reference later on, not filing it away.

Or essentially like labels (similar to Gmail).

I use an app called photo sort, where I create the folders I want for photos and short video clips, and after importing photo/video from camera roll,it will be saved in the selected folder. When I'm done,I can delete the files from camera roll, withouth losing them,as they are stored in photo sort.

I'm using this https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-manager-pro-5/id1076480192?mt=8
I don't know why Apple thinks that nobody wants to know picture or video size but there is app for that.

Price droped today.

You can try free version if you want and after support developer
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-manager-keep-photos-private-organized/id1216013616?mt=8

How strange; the free version to try is not available on the UK iTunes Store. The paid version however is available.
