Looking for rigid sleeve to prevent books crushing 15" macbook pro in backpack

Hi there! I carry my retina MacBook pro 15" (early 2013) in a backpack which frequently is quite full. This often pushes the screen against the keyboard leaving scratches in the screen. Does anyone know of a thin, very rigid crush-proof sleeve that will prevent this from happening? The pelican cases seem too thick (2.5") and don't have a model that fits the MacBook pro very well.

I've heard good things about Thule. You have the option of either opting for the sleeve like you are asking for OR the case which is just as sturdy. Although I can't give you any personal experiences... I plan on getting one when I get a rMBP soon god knows when they release it. :-(

Yeah, I'm looking for something that will protect against weight pressing against the screen and not just scratches and bumps. So the material needs to be rigid, i.e. Crush proof
