Other Looking for Speaker comparison X vs XS Max

Hey all,

For those who got an iPhone X and received the XS Max today what difference can you hear in the speakers?
A video comparison would be neat.

If you head to around the 5:22 mark of this review, you'll see a comparison. But like he said, this is a compressed Youtube video. It is not going to do it justice. You have to hear it in person on your own to really judge for yourself.

The Max ones are definitely louder than my X’s were.

I can tell right away that the Max speakers are better than the X.

It’s no comparison.. it’s probably 3-4x louder than the X... I played the same song on max volume.. started the Max first (so they were in different parts of the song). I played the X, and the max almost completely drowns out the X. Both at full volume obviously

Yep. Just compared them. No contest. Much, much louder.

From the video I can tell the XS Max has a shift in the high end so it's not as ear piercing and the midrange a little higher thus making it sound a little louder. The speakers sound much better than the X on this video.

WOW! Thanks a lot for the video, the speaker really blew my mind as it's one of the features I use on a daily basis. It sounds amazing!
