There & Back Again
Hi there, just on the verge (one or two days away from pulling the trigger) of getting a shiny new (refurbished :apple: ) 17" MBP.

So while I eat all my fingernails and destroy the time between now and when I go online and buy the thing (let alone wait for it to get here) I have been researching protection and cases for the MBP. It's hard to gauge how good the bags/cases are because everything is online, so I thought I would ask my good friends here on Mac Rumors (that's you) to help me find something good.

I have been eyeing this product:

I don't want to buy a sleeve on it's own because I need to carry files, a mouse and the power adapter, but I don't mind having a sleeve inside a case. I want a sturdy case though and not a messenger bag or something like that. Ideally I want a compartment with foam padding inside that bag to protect my impending baby....!

Can anyone comment on that bag? Or give me a good suggestion? I can spend around $150 for the bag if that helps.

I have a foofbag (yes I know how it sounds), which is a soft sleeve, that I then place in a Timbuk2 messenger. That combo is nice. The foofbag prevents scratching, and provides padding, while the messenger bag is essentially bombproof, and allows me to cary everything else I need.
