Today I was helping a friend with an iPad backup/restore. I am on a m1 MBP pro running Monterrey.
I plug in her iPad to my Mac and backed up her iPad to my Mac.
I then plugged in her 2nd iPad so I could erase/restore it.
When this was done I put the first backup from the other iPad on the iPad I just erased.
All of this was successful.
I now want to delete the backup of her iPad from my Mac. I can not locate it.
The internet says to do the following:
  1. Open a new Finder window.
  2. Hold option and select Go > Library.
  3. Navigate to Application Support > MobileSync > Backup.
  4. Each folder corresponds to a different device backup on your Mac
I do not have a mobile syncfolder on my Mac in that location. This was the first time I've backed up a iPad/iPhone to my Mac with out using iTunes. I used to use iTunes to backup my iOS devices on my 2012 MBP running Sierra.

Thanks
I saw the article.
  1. Type or copy and paste this: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
I do not have a MobileSync folder. That is the problem
