Super thin is a must. Black or dark solid only, no patterns. Under $15. I'd rather not have to deal with applying adhesive and using a squeegee.

I just want something to make sure the back doesn't get scratches on it when I set it down. Doesn't have to have side coverage and I don't have a smart cover.

TIA

Thanks. I had seen some of these when I was browsing, but I was kind of hoping someone would have experience with a product or two. It's really hard to say how thick those PU and PC cases are, and I'm looking for super thin.

Appreciate the great post though! Maybe I'll try one of these and report back. :)

I've got this one

I got it from the UK site, not sure if its available from the .com site. They have it in different colours, to match the Smart Cover. I've been using it since I got my mini in January and I don't have any marks on the back of my mini. It fits perfectly with the Smart Cover and is quite sturdy. It does cover the sides , except for the bit where the Smart Cover fits.

if you're looking for super thin, just go with ipad mini skin. these TPU back cases do have some thickness to it but not really thick. this is your best bet..... http://www.bodyguardz.com/apple-ipad-mini-cases-screen-protectors-covers-shields-skins-films.html
