Looking from the front, what is inside the top left corner of an iMac Alu' 24?

The top left of my iMac Alu gets really, really hot. Much more then the rest of the body, alot of the time it hurts to touch the top left corner.
So what's causing all this heat?
The closest thing to that area that I know of is the hard drive, but that's situated underneath the iSight camera ... around that area. I suppose heat from there could easily transfer, but don't worry.
My Alu iMac also gets hot in this same area, although not so much to the extent it's painful to touch the system.
If you have iStat or a similar program, keep an eye on the component temperatures, that's what's important. The Aluminum in your iMac acts as a form of heat conductor, absorbing the excess heat and taking it away from the components. As long as the components are operating at normal temperatures, there's nothing to concern yourself with.

It also depends on what you've been doing with your system mate.
I mean, my iMac has been on since around 7am this morning (it's now 10:48am) and has been used for some web browsing and iTunes ... current temperatures as of now are: (temperatures taken from iStat Pro)
HD: Macintosh HD - 44°C
CPU A: 38°C
CPU A Heatsink: 39°C
Airport Card: 55°C
Ambient: 24°C
GPU: 45°C
GPU Diode: 44°C
GPU Heatsink: 43°C
HD Bay 1: 46°C
Mem Controller: 39°C
Optical Drive: 39°C
Power Supply: 52°C
