Here is a pic of the internals of the Macbook after removing the heatsink and fan. It seems that reapplying the thermal compound on this machine is a much easier task then on the MBP. Disassembly is very easy and layout is excellent.

I saw disassembeled pic of the macbook, in those pics the thermal paster was perfect. I'm surprised that it looks different on yours.

I am STILL waiting for disassembeled pics of the 17" Macbook Pro! ANYONE???

Yes it is definitely better than the MBP. This pic is taken from a Japanese website (not my machine).

That amount actually looks about right imo.

What temp is that running on no and full load?
