In the right light, it looks like my ipad has a front camera. A really small one.

Or is it like you can see on the iphone i some lights, the sensors on the front?

Its just one, not like the iphone's 3 sensors that can be seen i the right light.

What ever it is, what is it good for?

See the part that really sucks is your iPad is the only one with the camera which leaves you with no one to talk too. Sorry hommie.

This has to be a joke right? Please tell me it's a joke.

I just noticed that mine has one too. Frickin' awesome.

Yes!! Mine too!!

Also, I have this black button on the top of my iPad - it's used to turn it on/lock the screen etc. - but it also struck me that the obvious purpose of this button is to freeze time for anyone holding the iPad at that moment.

Unfortunately, like the camera, it doesn't work as yet - but I'm pretty sure they will fix that with a software update.

There should be an automatic response generator for threads like these :p

No OP you just happened to get the only iPad worldwide with a front facing camera

It's for a Kensington lock. Or is it a button that sets the built-in laser printer to stun?
