Loop bracelet magnetically attracted to ceramic back

Is this normal? Just noticed after finally getting my new watch set up that the loop bracelet likes to stick to the ceramic back. Kind of annoying. And please tell me that the steel shouldn't scratch the ceramic/sapphire back.

Other than that all seems mostly well. Feels a bit harder to activate force touch for some reason - needs a real firm press on this one. And I noticed a very tiny spot of glue or something around bezel. At first I was afraid it was a chip but I think it's sticking out rather than in.

There's metal rings embedded in the back so yes it'll stick

I'm learning that Can't wait to deal with the loop plus the magnetic charger. I got the loop because it surprisingly became available locally while my online order was still processing. Had kinda preferred the white strap. Though I do love the look of the loop and the steel case now that I have it.

Fun! I worry about the propensity of the back to scratch from constantly grabbing the bracelet, but apparently the zirconia should really be scratch proof (though I did see a post where someone had a bunch of micro scratching on theirs somehow, and not from a space black Milanese).

The rest of the Watch is currently pretty well protected. Full body armorsuit with screen protector (I know, completely unnecessary).

Not gonna tell you it won't scratch it, because if it does, someone will get quoted as a liar. But since it worries you that much, would it not be simpler to just put a wrap/protector on it? It'll also keep your mind at ease for each time you charge it (dust or grit between the charger and the watch).

That's a beautiful watch. Looks nice. It may or may not scratch. But the scratching was primarily with the black Milanese loop, from the DLC coating.

You just need to be careful. You will learn how to deal with the magnet so that you're not struggling every time you handle your watch. I've never found the charger to be a problem.

Not gonna tell you it won't scratch it, because if it does, someone will get quoted as a liar. But since it worries you that much, would it not be simpler to just put a wrap/protector on it? I was hoping the armorsuit came with a piece like that but it didn't. I have seen some products that cover the back though (not counting the little circles). Might get one. Or just not worry about it.

No scratches yet. When I handle the watch, I usually keep my fingers inside the loop covering the back, so there's not much chance of contact from the bracelet. That said, I'm no real worried about it.

Cool, thanks. No matter how hard I try it feels like the bracelet is just drawn to the back of the watch. Only made contact a few times so far and I'm being more careful with it now. Hard to lay it anywhere without it falling over and getting stuck to the back. Learning curve.

I'm sure I'll be tempted any day now to rip off all of this stuff and just let it acquire a natural patina. of course, once i get a few scratches I'll be kicking myself for taking all the protection off.

I probably would have if something like Armorsuit was available back when I owned a lot of mechanical watches. There was a funny story from Timezone.com back in the day about a guy who covered his entire watch (I think it was a Rolex) with Elmer's glue. Let it dry clear. Posted a picture of his now-protected watch.

Same. I just can not wrap my head around this. I blame accessory makers. I don't see cases for other smart watches but so many for the Apple Watch. They're enabling. I know people with watches costing so much more who just wear it and let it be
