One of the screws on my wife's MBA is very loose. we have Apple Care...and I have the correct screwdriver but I know Apple is picky about signs of you opening their devices, but to send it in for a screw I can tighten seems overkill. What would you do?

If it is one of the case screws, I would try tightening it. It shouldn't be very loose. Someone at the factory may have stripped the screw. If you want to cover yourself, contact Support about what the situation is. They will probably tell you take care of it. Once they do that, you are good to go.

Good idea... I just looked at it with a magnifying lens it looks normal. Not stripped star. But yeah I will make a claim... and let you know what they said.

I did contact Apple... they said to be very careful tightening it. And to check the rest. If they keep getting loose to refile a new claim and they would replace it.
