For some reason, my trackpad button on my MBP 17" 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM 160GB HDD is loose. When I press it lightly in certain spots, it makes a clicking noise, as if it was depressed fully, but no mouse click occurs. Should I be concerned about this? It seems pretty minor to me.

I think IMO thats its normal. My PowerBook is the same. Has it always been this way?

My 15" has just developed this same problem a few days ago and I'd have to say the uneven and louder crunchy click is troubling.

My MBP 15" CD did that (after a month...not right away)...Apple agreed that it was not normal, and fixed it.

were they quick to replace it or did you fight with them for a while....I am very annoyed by it and want to get it fixed. Also, did you send it in or did they replace it at an apple store. And do you know if it is a quick fix or somethin that will take a week?? sorry for all the questions, just want mine fixed.
