Losing connection to NAS

For some reason, my MacBook keeps asking me to login to my HDD attached to my AirPort Extreme. It's annoying since I have to login every time I close and then re-open the finder window.

It makes things like Catch and Time Machine not function correctly because they us folders on the attached storage.

Awfully late reply, apologies. They were both correct, yeah. I've got back to El Capitan now and all is fine. I couldn't find any other reported issues with this. I wiped my SSD and reinstalled Sierra and it still wouldn't work. Very odd.
