It's just me but hell I've waited bout a month just to order now I've been in que since 3:47am est on dec 19th and still "in processing"
COME ON APPLE DAMN
I'm all for MADE IN USA
But y'all making that phrase look REAL BAD.....

Then you gotta call Barclay and explain all this crap for 0% finance.....

COME ON APPLE

Explain what crap for 0% financing?

And really? Given the holidays, the fact that this is a new machine, and it sounds like you financed a BTO machine...not sure how fast you thought this would happen. I seriously hope you don't believe that something like this makes "made in the USA" look bad. I'm real sorry and feel very sorry for you that you have had to wait so long for your computer. Must suck.

You may want to complain to Apple though. I bet your order time was stated somewhere when you ordered.

I feel your pain !

Apple's entire supply chain seems to be running poorly lately - from the MacBook Pro's being delayed weeks for the logic board RAM upgrade, to the constrained iPad Mini Retinas, to this.

We placed an order for 35 iMacs on campus and that order is delayed now.

Tim Cook needs to go back to supply chain management.

If the Apple/Barclays financing isn't used within 30 days than the 0% financing is lost. Several of us have called and it means we have to call up Barclays and get them to manually reverse it.

I'm also waiting, I probably ordered about 20 minutes after they opened. Getting through the financing took some time, I should have done it earlier.

If I had understood how the financing worked I would have either hooked up my finance a week in advance so I could hop on the store at the em effin stroke of midnite, or I'd have waited out the whole "opening day" rodeo and applied in February for it to be here by March.
Since this was a present to myself for my 45th bday, which transpired in December, I just did the barclays thing the day of the release. Unfortunately my particular approval did not populate to my account until I contacted Apple support. So my order was placed several days after the initial rush.

I'm trying not to be an entitled first-worlder, but the whole barclaycard 0% 18 months is the only reason I went for the model I did (6/D700/16/512).
If I was paying out of pocket I would have gone for the base model and upgraded whatever I could farther down the line.

Barclay did eventually say they were going to put a note on my account to retroactively apply the 0% financing if we do go past 30 days before the charge drops. But it took a lot of explaining. I would think that since they are the only finance option for Apple store purchases that they would be more in the loop about the lateness of Mac Pro orders.

What's maddening is that this isn't an iPhone or iPad, it's the least popular of the Apple products. I took my time a bit ordering, it's a complete accident that I got there within a half hour anyhow. I'm on the West coast and happened to wake up before midnight and so thought "OK why not go see?" I guess my internal alarm clock was operating.

Obviously Apple had virtually no stock on hand when they opened ordering. That's kind of amazing.
