Losing the internet connection

Between now and then, I keep losing my internet connection at iPhone 3G. In order to get it back, I go and rest the network settings then it works fine. But why is this problem?

Why I keep losing the connection and then need to reset the network settings? Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
