Loss of audio on 10.11.1 beta2

Seems my rMBP mid 2015 no longer recognize my audio ins or outs.
Although about this mac shows the intel audio card, there's just a "no parking sign" when I try to adjust the volume.
I updated from the dev site, not via mas.
Did the firmware and the delta update.
Anyone else see this problem, and if so, did you find a fix for it?

It really isn't that big a deal, but every now and then audio is nice

you could try plugging headphones or something into the audio jack, then removing it. or...reset the SMC, pram...

I bit the bullet on this one and downgraded to the 10.11 GM...
I tried to reset PRAM and whatnot, but to no avail.
Ah well, I'll give it a go again when the next beta is out.

Well, I decided to go back to the GM.
After that was done, MAS said I had an update, so I figured ok, let's give them one more chance.
And lo and behold, everything seems to work as planned this time around!
