Hi,

I'm running iTunes on Windoze at the moment, and I tried importing a CD in Apple Lossless, I really noticed the better quality, although also the huge file size:p

I'm now comtemplating re-importing all my CDs in Lossless, and definately using Lossless on my iMac when I get it.

I was wondering, however, if it would be possible to convert my library to MP3 or AAC when I transfer it an iPod? My current library is MP3, and only about 3.5gb, yet around 700 songs, so it would fit on an 8GB iPod nano in MP3 format, but lossless is far too big.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks, Teh Burgeh.

You can do this with the lossless to aac workflow. It means you (the script will do it) have to convert the songs as you put them onto the iPod so it is a little time consuming to begin with.
