lost AirPods do I just go to apple to get another one?

first time I ever lost one. I guess between taking off my stocking cap on and off and the wind for the fist time I never noticed. find my phone shows AirPods at home so I guess it will only show the location of one? or does it mean the lot one is at home? I did not hear it.

Depends, when my right AirPod went through the wash I contacted Apple, was helped by a manager who sent a replacement out to me for free. Amazingly the AirPod actually survived the wash and now I have a free spare . This was after I was transferred due to a PO box shipping, the normal chat technician was going to charge me. The manager didn't even ask, when I asked I was told not to worry about it.

I have found that the case of the AirPods will perfectly fit a tile, and I haven't worried about that for awhile.

[doublepost=1512965173][/doublepost]I haven ot lost the case or the airbuds. all i tend to do is once in awhile leave thecae at work I always know when they come out of my ear when putting on my helmet or taking off a hoody. thesis the first time Idid not noice it was gone till Went to take them out.

of course I set an appointment for 10:40 and I have a late customer and I get him out and just as I was hopping on my scooter another customer. so Was late and had to wait about 30 minutes to only find they were out and had to order the right one. so I dose and was told upto a week. so what happens around 3 Get call and email saying its in. hop on the scooter on the way and grab it and take the train home only to find the lost one on the ground outside my house.
