I was last using my AirPods Pro last night with them connected to my MacBook. Now I can't find them (I'm afraid I left them it on the table and it's not a cat toy) and they're not showing up in the Find My app. The app shows my phone, watch, and two MacBooks but neither of my AirPods. Even if they're not connected, shouldn't they at least still show up in the app? Does the phone need to be in the same location as the AirPods in order for them to show up or should they be showing up as offline or no location found? I'm at work and the AirPods are in my house somewhere. I'm freaking out but it will be 7 hours before I can go look for them! I'm really unfamiliar with how the Find My app works so I guess that's what I'm asking. Any guidance, especially as to how the app works and why they wouldn't be slowing up as offline, would be greatly appreciated! I'm freaking out and it will be 7 hours before I can go home and look for them!

They should show for a while. From the document, “You can see AirPods Max in Find My for up to 18 hours inside their Smart Case. Outside of their Smart Case, you can see them for 72 hours.”

They're in the case, unless the culprit was my kittens and they've gotten knocked out. They were last used around 9:30 - 10:00 last night so it's just been a little over 12 hours and they're not showing. Weird.
