Annoyingly lost my fairly recently bought AirPods Pro on the train about a month ago which I have not been able to recover. Only re-assuring thing is there has been no location on them since (the battery had died) so clearly not been turned on.

I'm looking at replacing but not sure I can justify paying that amount again so close to this pair. If I was to go for the standard 2nd gen, would I notice much difference?

There on sale now for 169, don’t think the regular ones are much less right now.

Thanks both. Sadly in the UK and not many good deals around at the moment.

I would have to get the Pros again...or my mind would think about losing them every single time that I'd use normal AirPods again, and that would drive me crazy. At least with replacement AirPod Pros I could cry once then completely forget about the accident.

Found some 2nd gen AirPods for £80 during Black Friday. I’ll use this for now and possibly wait until March for the rumoured new AirPods.

If any good Pro deals come up in the meantime I will go for them.
