Well,

Upgraded to iCloud this morning. Get to the office and need to write an e-mail. All my contacts are gone. Can't get back to .mac. Not sure what to do. They are all still on my old iPhone 3g.

What a pain

Any ideas?

I am sure they are in Time Machine, so yes. But was wondering if anybody else had the same issue in moving from .Mac to iCloud.

There are a few posts in Apple Support and at least one user who said they had the same issue which resolved itself over night, so fingers crossed.

Did you back all your contacts up?

Idiot fix, I didn't turn on iCloud sync on my machine at home. Got home turned it all on, works like a charm.
