sigh, last time i had to restore in order to update to 1.0.1, but all my notes, and mail settings were intact, however this time i had to restore and update to 1.0.2, i noticed my notes, alarm clocks, stocks, weather settings, world time, and one of my voicemail were all gone! what gives! arghh, i even have itunes have a backup of my iphone.

not sure why all my info was intact before, but this time its all gone, just doesn't make sense!

so when you do a restore do you lose ALL your settings? or is it just me. I'm confused. Cause last time i restored, I didn't lose my settings. But this time I did. and im very angry!!!

No offense, but if you hack your phone, you can't be upset when updates reset your phone

agreed...DON'T hack a $600 Phone!

I don't understand why everyone wants to do this...especially those icons everyone is adding...they look TACKY!

To the OP...that was not directed to you. I just updated and had no problems...sorry to hear you had to restore.
