Lost app data from iOS 5 update

After updating my ipad2 to iOS5, all the apps and app data were fine except one app was missing.. i went to the app store and could download it via icloud, but then all my game saves were gone. Acheivements in the gamecenter were retained, but all the app data seems to have been lost.

Is there a way to selectively retrieve the data from this app?
