My iPhone 6 has just been replaced at Apple. I'm not restoring from a previous back up as its corrupted. I went to sync contacts but there were non added to my phone. I know I have them, all 54 of them but I can't find them. My SIM card transferred nothing to my phone. Where would they be?

My laptop says this but there is nothing in there.
Please can someone help me?
Thank you

I have but I have never used iCloud or back up to it. I always use iTunes on my laptop.

What happens if you check the box in the picture that says "Sync Contacts with…"? Do they appear then? It's unchecked (the box).

That box is empty. There is nothing on my laptop at all. I've checked multiple times. I've managed to find contacts on my desktop PC which are a year old and have manually input them onto my phone. There's a few missing but it's no big deal. I guess my laptop doesn't save my backups for some reason.

What I meant was check this box by clicking on it (I outlined it in red (attached)) so that a check appears in the box. I was not speaking of the empty box where your contacts are supposed to show.

A lot of times stuff will not appear unless you check the box for it.

If you check that and your contacts still do not show then somehow, you have indeed lost them.

Thanks for that. I did check the box and nothing happens. Windows contacts has nothing in there on my laptop. I've manually typed them all back on to my phone now. I'm backing up to iCloud as a precaution now.
