hi, all.

I'm clear history and remove all website data on my safari 8.0.2 and frequently visited panel was removed with history. I lost this panel on my iphone and ipad also.

I try check and recheck "show favorites" in preferences -> search, but it's not success.

May be you have any ideas?

Without a history, Safari doesn't know what the frequently visited websites are obviously.

Have to be careful when using clear history. You can clear the last hour or today or today/yesterday or even all history. Just select the one you want or else you have to start over again

The "frequently visited" section will reappear automatically. But if there is something you are urgently missing in there, maybe you should set a bookmark for that site. Then it will always appear in the URL dropdown window, even when you clear your history again.
