Lost internet access

So, while away at school there is no 3G so I turn it off so it's not searching for signal.

I went home this weekend, tried to turn 3G on and I kept getting this error:

Could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.

What's with that? Now I cant even get edge back at school.

what data package do you have?
i know att changed something so that you have to be on the $30 unlimited IPHONE media package for that all to work, but I believe there is a workaround that.

Umm seeing as I can make and receive calls still, yes I paid my bill.

I've been using the MediaNet plan for about a year and a half now with the unlimited text for 30.

that's the one i'm using and i just got my 3G S yesterday. I think it has something to do with the APN.
