Alrighty, I'll try to make a long story short. I had to reformat my hard drive on my laptop that I sync my iPhone to. Of course that means installing a new copy of iTunes also. When I went to sync it, it removes all of my paid (and free) apps. They all still show up in my purchase history in my iTunes store, though.

So I guess the question is, how do I get them back on my phone? Thanks!

You just download them again. If you purchased the apps another download to an authorized computer is free.

Yep, seems that's what you have to do. Took a while but all is fine.

On a side note, you would think that iTunes would give you the ability to go into your past purchases from the app store and re-download them in one shot.

Or you could keep a backup of all your purchased apps. ;)
