I've been downloading Apps mainly through my phone for the past few months, and since then, it appears that I've lost all my apps on my MBP iTunes. I've done a Leopard reformat, and an upgrade to Snow Leopard since the last time I tried syncing apps via iTunes.

I just downloaded an app via iTunes (large file, didn't want my phone downloading 300MB) and tried to sync it to my MBP, but iTunes popped up with a message saying all of my iPhone apps would be erased in order to sync it to my phone.

Is there any way to sync all the apps off of my iPhone and onto my laptop, or do I have to re-download via my phone?

When you plug the phone in, right-click on the phone in iTunes, and you'll see an option to transfer purchases from the iPhone to iTunes.

BTW, what would you do if you lost your phone while not syncing for all that time? Your data would be gone.
