Lost my jailbreak and need some help

Did a search and couldn't find my exact scenario.

Jailbroke my 3G about a month ago using pwnage tool and got the "sad iphone" logo today. Ended up restoring it to factory settings and then using my most recent backup. Have since tried to re JB it and have had no luck and not sure why. I have gotten it into DFU mode but can't get the right ispw to work with redsnow.

My phone is 3.1.3 and i'm running a macbook with OSX.

Any detailed help would be greatly appreciated.
