lost "notes"

One of my notes I made and stored in the "notes" part of the iphone has gone missing. Is there a way to retrieve it?
 
You're saying it was saved in the On My iPhone Notes folder instead of iCloud? You might want to check Recently Deleted to see if it inadvertently got deleted.
