Hi everyone, I have an issue. I was just using my new iPad Air (iOS 15.4) and noticed that my “Photos” app (Folder) has completely disappeared from my Home Screen.

I was not moving any apps or doing anything strange.

Can someone tell me how to get it back?

I “do” have the icon in the floating dock that pops up from the bottom (so I can access the photo).

I just like to have the ”Photos” app/folder available on one of the screens as well.

I tried searching for the fix, but the remedy didn’t work for me.

Thanks in advance for any assistance with this!

Sincerely,

Dave

Either;

- Drag the photo icon up from the dock to move it elsewhere, but it will no longer be in the dock.
- Keep swiping screens until you get to the app draw (far right accessible with left hand swipes) find the app there and drag it to the screen, and it will remain in the dock also.
- from the Home Screen swipe down with one finger from the middle of the screen, type in Photos in the field that appears, and drag the icon from there to where you want it.

That’s how to get the photos app to where you want. I’m not too sure by what you mean by ‘folder’ though. If you have created a folder full of apps on the dock and you want it on the home screen, drag that folder. If you want it on the dock and on the home screen you will need to recreate it by individually moving the apps as I mentioned above and placing them over the top of one another to recreate the folder where you want it.
