lost vlc app, AVIs trapped in iPhone

I upgraded my iPhone 4 last week and lost all my apps. I was able to download them again except for vlc player. I had about 7 gigs of AVIs in my phone. iTunes shows these as "other" but I can't access them or delete them. I tried restoring to my previous version but that didn't recover my apps.

iExplorer allows you to browse and copy to/from an non-JB iDevice. Handy for transferring those high scores.

So I tried the program. In preferences it says it can't see files larger than 100mb. I saved my apps to iTunes by right clicking on iPhone in iTunes and selecting transfer paid apps or something like that. Then I restored to factory settings. Things should be okay. Thanks again.
