Just started the last couple of days though I've had iOS 12 Dev beta 3 installed since release.

Not sure what's triggering it - sometimes just happens on its own out of the blue and other times when I'm doing something on the phone (camera, clearing notifications, etc)

It happened to me twice on iPhone x, while opening a WhatsApp message from lock screen.
Used Feedback to report it.

Mine definitely occurring more times when opening or using the camera, but also occurs at other times, seemingly randomly.

iPhone X

I'm having upwards of 5 or 6 (or more) resprings per day since I first posted this. I read somewhere that it could be related to having a schedule set for Do Not Disturb, so I turned my schedule off and noticed a decrease in the number of resprings, but they didn't go away completely.

The other thing, and I don't know if this is new or not, but it seems the respring takes much longer to finally get back to the homescreen than it did in the past (or that I remember for iOS 11 betas). I haven't timed it yet, but it really feels like it takes almost a minute (or longer) to get back to the homescreen.

Mines does it alot 2 the point I can make a call and it just resprings ,I don’t have do not disturb on also my iPad Pro is doing it too

So I had my DND schedule off for all of today and definitely noticed a decrease in resprings. Don't remember having any at work (or maybe just one). However, in the couple of hours I've been home, it's happened 4 times. Weird. Not sure if there's something with my home wifi that is triggering the resprings that my work wifi doesn't or what.
